- Responsible for generating new business within our Northern Wisconsin Market defined as the counties of Barron, Bayfield, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, Saint Croix, Sawyer, Trempealeau, Vernon and Washburn.
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationship with current and prospective customers.
- Promote, sell, and secure orders for our Yale and Hyster division.
- Demonstrate products and services that best suits the needs of the customer.
- Develop proposals and quotes for current and prospective customers.
- Analyze the territory's potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers.
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy.
- Supplies management with reports on customer needs, problems, competitive activities, and potential for new services.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to take on additional duties and responsibilities as requested by the Director of Sales.
- Basic knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information, strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork and flexibility.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
- Travel throughout assigned territory and/or Fairchild Equipment footprint; 80% annually.
- High school or GED equivalent education preferred.
- 3+ years of sales experience in related industry.
- Forklift industry experience preferred, but not required.

You will be responsible for the sale of new and used forklifts and other material handling equipment, while maintaining and strengthening existing business and market share. This position is a full-time Exempt Outside Sales Position out of our Stevens Point, Wisconsin branch.
