Innovative accounting firm Dugan + Lopatka CPAs is seeking an Accounting + Advisory Services Associate.

In this role, you will work with the Accounting + Advisory Services department to provide business clients with actionable insights into their business operations using timely and reliable data.


Responsibilities

  • Perform compilation and review engagements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare business tax returns and opportunities to provide tax planning services to business clients.
  • Prepare payroll and sales tax returns.
  • Perform outsourced accounting services for business and nonprofit clients, including bill paying, payroll, financial statement preparation, budgeting, grant reporting, review and discuss financials with clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
  • CPA eligibility (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using QuickBooks (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Motivation to grow your career and learn new things
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
