Job Overview
Supporting a contract team in providing a high-quality general maintenance service; ensuring the upkeep of specific areas by performing general and specific tasks according to the agreed contract specification.
Main Responsibilities
- Performing general maintenance and repair work on a specific building, its structure, facilities, and inventory, as requested by the customer and/or Mitie contract management team, as well as maintaining the interior and exterior areas and surroundings.
- Collaborating with the Mitie contract management team regarding the daily operation of the building and reporting any issues related to operation and appearance.
- Conducting routine checks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal conditions are achieved.
- Ensuring that entrances and exits are clean and tidy.
- Making sure that there is an adequate supply of cleaning materials on site.
- Assisting with packing and unpacking of equipment and furniture on site.
- Addressing urgent internal issues, such as clogged drains, toilets, minor spills, changing light bulbs and lamps.
- Performing painting and decorating work as agreed and instructed by management.
- Assisting with setting up rooms for the business day, including AV equipment, sound systems, media systems, furniture placement, etc., as requested by customers.
- Responsible for communicating work status to both the customer and the Mitie contract management team.
- Maintaining high standards of personal performance, hygiene, and attitude.
- Completing other reasonable tasks as instructed by management.
