    DevSecOps Engineer

    The Opportunity:

    DevSecOps engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. We're looking for a DevOps engineer like you to help develop critical tools—and get them into the hands of those who need them most.

    As a DevSecOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll help streamline the software development life cycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best—create. You'll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.     You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration
  • Experience with Cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), S3, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), or Linux operating systems
  • Experience with configuring and utilizing DevOps bundled tools, including Atlassian or GitLab
  • Experience with scripting languages
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD technologies and configurations
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DoD IAT Level II minimum certification, such as Sec+, or CASP+
  • Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) or end state management technologies
  • Experience with developing AWS services
  • Clearance:

    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
