- At least 8 years of experience as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or IT Service Management
- Minimum 4 years of experience leading a client through the entire Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority to Operate (ATO) process
- Proven experience in achieving system certification, accreditation, assessment, and authorization, including IATT's and ATO's
- Proficiency in working with security applications for enterprise vulnerability scanning
- Familiarity with systems and software engineering management processes applicable to DoD acquisition procedures across all life cycle phases
- Understanding of DoD communication, cybersecurity, and IT systems
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- DoD IAT Level II minimum certification, such as Sec+ or CASP+
- Experience with STIGs
- Background in DevSecOps
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency with Operating Systems, including Linux, UNIX, Ubuntu, or Red Hat
- Ability to apply Cybersecurity engineering methods to solutions development life cycle activities
- Capacity to research emerging technology and incorporate them into cutting-edge problems
- Excellent presentation and collaboration skills
- Master's in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
- CISSP-ISSEP, CCSP, or CISMCertification

About the role and the company:
Are you on the lookout for an exciting chance to utilize your expertise in system security engineering? You have the opportunity to contribute to our country's security and support our clients with crucial missions.
You'll be responsible for seamlessly integrating requirements into the system through purposeful security architecture, design, development, and configuration. Coordinating changes or modifications with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) is key, as well as implementing and enforcing all DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures. Your duties will involve documenting, monitoring, updating, and managing systems to maintain optimal security and to attain an Interim Authority to Operate (IATO) and Authority to Operate (ATO) across various locations.
Supporting both DoD and military clients, you'll be involved in developing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, including technical implementations, RMF, and policies. Collaborate to devise solutions to complex problems with hybrid systems from a cybersecurity perspective. Operating with minimal supervision, you'll have the chance to work within established procedures and practices.
