ADP Technology Services, Inc. is hiring a Senior Application Developer in our Richmond, VA location.

You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.

Responsible for participating in relevant aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations.

Develop and review software requirements, create design documents, write programs, package, test, configure, and deploy software. Work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions. Develop and enhance software programs and data structures that meet business objectives. Design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications.

Analyze, re-factor and optimize existing Java, Python and on-premise technology stack in order to support faster development and delivery timelines .

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, related Engineering disciplines, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required.

Work Experience.

Two (2) years of experience must include:

Java; Python; Cloud technology stack including Lambdas, ECS, EKS and RDS; Write, document and test software code according to functional requirements, design, and operational procedures; Analyze, re-factor and optimize existing Java, Python, and on-premises technology stack; Document design and architecture diagrams, decisions; Define the product roadmap, capacity, and sprint planning; Deliver at an epic scale.
