About us

Taz Manor, a Residential Group Home for intellectually disabled adults, is seeking support staff for in home and community engagement assistance.

No more than three residents at any time.


Our work environment includes:

Provide personal assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities living in a group home setting.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide care services, including supervising and engaging in ageappropriate activities.
• Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met.
• Assist with patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as directed.
• Lift and transfer individuals as needed, following proper safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the individuals under your care.
• Provide first aid and respond to emergencies as necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, hospice care patients, or in assisted living facilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with ADLs and providing personal care assistance.
• Knowledge of meal preparation and dietary restrictions.
• Understanding of patient care procedures and medication administration.
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean environment.

Training provided for required certifications

• First aid/CPR and Med Tech certification a plus but can be obtained
