About Us:


Keystone Pediatric Behavioral Health (KPBH) is a multi-specialty private behavioral health practice currently providing diagnostic evaluations and mental health services for children and families impacted by autism spectrum disorder and other neuro-developmental conditions.

Established in 2016, our goal is to provide family-centered, evidence-based, and compassionate services to children and their families.


We are currently recruiting an intelligent, compassionate, reliable, and responsible part time administrative assistant to provide support for ongoing clinical care and operations of the practice.

The Behavioral Health Office Admin is responsible for interacting with guests and managing administrative tasks for the clinical team, and will be the first point of contact for our organization.

Duties include greeting guests, helping them with paperwork, updating paperwork, filing and sorting, scheduling client appointments, and communicating with clinical staff.

This is a great opportunity for a psychology, health, or non-profit major. Hours include Monday (10:00am - 6:00pm) and Tuesday through Friday (2:00pm to 6:00pm).


Essential Tasks:


  • Answering the office phone and properly referring questions and/or concerns
  • Interfacing with clients professionally both in person and over the phone
  • Assistance with medical documentation and updating client records
  • Assistance with office inventory management and ordering new supplies
  • Patient correspondence, staff correspondence, and correspondence with referral sources
  • Data entry and case management
  • Optimizing provider schedules and client satisfaction with efficient scheduling
  • Assistance with financial management and verifying financial records

Desired Skills and Qualifications:


  • Organization and time management skills to manage a variety of tasks effectively
  • Written and verbal communication skills to converse clearly over the telephone and in person
  • Problemsolving and technological skills to use word processing and spreadsheet programs for data management
  • Attention to detail to schedule clients correctly and communicate scheduling difficulties with clinical team
  • Caring, compassion, patience, and understanding to interact positively with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, grasp new skills and concepts quickly, and be reliable to efficiently offer administrative support

Education and Experience Preferences:


  • High school diploma, some college (preferred)
  • Experience in a health office setting (preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Vietnamese is a plus

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
