    Job Shop is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for local Fortune 500 Manufacturing Company
    Location:

    Trenton, SC Area The Manufacturing Engineer role encompasses collaborating with production teams, suggesting capital expenditures for enhanced throughput, designing tooling/fixtures, and maintaining a Lean Manufacturing culture through continuous improvements using Kaizen methodologies
    Responsibilities:


    • Propose process enhancements to reduce production costs while ensuring Best-In-Class quality and lead times.
    • Oversee plant equipment and production process projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
    • Champion plant-specific programs for waste elimination and risk mitigation, promoting operational effectiveness.
    • Develop business systems for informed decision-making and fiscal control.
    • Embrace quality systems for on-time delivery, defect-free products, and continuous improvement.
    Qualifications:

    Qualifications:


    • BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
    • 2+ years of manufacturing process experience; welding, metal forming, assembly, painting, or powder coating knowledge is a plus.
    • PLC and Robot programming skills are advantageous.
    • Proficient in cost optimization, efficiency, and productivity methods.
    • AutoCAD experience required; SolidWorks proficiency preferred.
    • Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements using Lean Manufacturing or similar principles.
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel up to 25%
