Department Purpose


The Plant Pathology Armstrong Field Station has approximately 135 acres of research and teaching plots, a 2-acre nursery, 10,000 square feet of lab, office, and storage facilities.

Current users of the field station are 21 UC Davis faculty members, 6 USDA scientists, 2 county farm advisors, and 1 UC Riverside faculty member.

This is a short-term hire position limited to 1000 hours. Initial appointment is expected to start in April and will be four months.

Possibility of extension(s), up to the end of October 2021, if incumbent has not reached 1000 hours during initial appointment.
