We are looking for you to join our team at Briese and start your apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic in Leer.

The shipping industry is interesting and fascinating, and as a member of our in-house workshop, you will be closely involved in the activities and results.


Your tasks:

  • Manufacturing and processing of devices, workpieces, and machine components using manual and mechanical production methods
  • Operating machine tools
  • Inspecting, maintaining, and converting mechanical and electrical equipment, machines, and production systems
  • Repairing and maintaining potentially defective machines and systems
  • Evaluating control engineering documents
  • Documenting work results

Requirements:

  • Good secondary school or high school diploma, vocational school in metal technology preferred
  • Good grades in German, mathematics, chemistry, and physics
  • Manual dexterity and enjoyment of solving practical and technical problems
  • Accuracy and care when working
  • Understanding of technical and physical processes
  • Good spatial imagination
  • Basic knowledge of English
