- Assist in test and design debugging, maintaining status updates, and escalating issues as necessary.
- Manage the master test plan and document issues in JIRA.
- Collaborate with Firmware, SOC Design, and Emulation engineers to resolve issues and execute tests.
- Design and develop test environment components to validate embedded firmware, BIOS code features, SW, and directed tests.
- Develop directed tests for feature verification in a co-simulated and emulated/FPGA hardware environment.
- Create monitors and checkers for end-to-end firmware/hardware validation.
- Establish coverage goals and test plans.
- Run emulator workloads to test new features.
- Proficiency in FPGA and/or emulation platforms (Veloce, Palladium, ZEBU, HAPs, Protium).
- Experience in developing System Verilog-based test content.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like C++, Python, Perl, Shell, and TCL for test development.
- Track record of validating hardware features across at least 3 projects in a pre-silicon environment.
- Experience in debugging using waveform viewers, log files, and microcode trace dumps.
- Familiarity with debugging software using debuggers and trace files.
- Understanding of low-power design emulation/verification and power management fundamentals.
- Familiarity with UEFI, Core boot, Chrome, and Windows Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of x86 and/or ARM SoC Architecture.
- Understanding of Platform security, Secure protocols, Cryptographic applications, Secure boot, Attestation/Authentication, and Physically Unclonable Functions (PUFs).
- Knowledge of protocols such as SPI, DDR, SATA, USB, AXI, PCI, PCIe, MIPI, WLAN, or I2C.
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science with 3 years of pre-silicon hardware verification experience.
- Bachelor/Master in Computer Engineering with 3 years of experience in developing Software modules for hardware validation.
- Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience in OOP-based software components development and 2-3 years of pre-silicon verification experience.

Trilyon Inc. is in search of a Pre-Silicon Emulation Engineer for its direct client. If you possess the skills and experience listed below, we are keen to have a discussion with you.
The client is open to a hybrid work setup, but initially, the candidate might need to be onsite for 3+ days within the first 3 months to ramp up quickly. Subsequently, onsite presence may be required for 2-3 days.

THE ROLE:
Collaborating with Client's Client engineering teams, you will be exposed to cutting-edge Desktop/PC and Mobile CPU, GPU, and APU processors that power accelerated system computing. As a Client Engineer, you will gain insight into advanced multi-layered security features, H-Series processors for gamers and creators, and U-Series processors for sleek notebooks. You'll also delve into the 'Zen' core architecture that enables exceptional performance and battery life. Be part of the team driving Client's Shift-Left strategies for Client APUs, overseeing the planning and execution of Client Compute Products used by leading OEMs and compute solution providers globally. In this role, you will engage with various stakeholders to strategize, develop, implement, and troubleshoot system use cases on emulation/FPGA platforms while enhancing pre-silicon infrastructure for expanded validation capabilities.
