Your responsibilities:

  • You process purchase proposals and demand requests in assigned subject areas and product groups
  • You actively participate in and carry out internal and cross-departmental projects
  • You negotiate independently and responsibly
  • You are responsible for handling complaints
  • You are responsible for searching, selecting, evaluating and developing suppliers
  • You handle the administrative process of ordering

Your profile:

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or are an industrial specialist, technician, business economist, technical business economist (m/f/d) or have an equivalent qualification
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in plant engineering / mechanical engineering
  • You have a specialization in materials management with a good technical understanding
  • You are proficient in working with ERP systems and MS Office applications
  • You are characterized by your good self-management and implementation skills
  • You are resilient, demonstrate negotiation skills, have a confident demeanor, are communicative and have good written and spoken English skills
  • You are solution-oriented, proactive, enjoy working in a team and are reliable
