On-site Nurse Practitioner
BA Global Talent is seeking a qualified professional to join a dynamic team as a
Nurse Practitioner. In this position, you'll be able to provide Health Care to millions of Americans who live in rural communities two hours or more from the closest physicians, specialists, or hospitals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive health assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic screenings.
- Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice, and monitor patient response to therapy.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, chronic disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records, including documentation of patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and followup care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and professional development activities to enhance clinical practice and contribute to evidencebased medicine.
Requirements:
- Must hold current license/registration to practice.
- Excellent English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Nice to have:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
On-site: New Mexico
Schedule:
Full-Time, 5 days a week, with one week off every month.
