    Job Summary:

    This position will have overall responsibility for administering the attendance policy at the plant and feed mill by utilizing the tracking system, making corrections, and guiding supervisors through the attendance process.

    Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

    · Completes daily coding of HR-related absences, such as leaves of absence, FMLA/STD, doctor's notes, etc.

    · Makes corrections to attendance data as needed.

    · Prints, reviews, and issues attendance warnings to supervisors/managers.

    · Reviews termination warnings for accuracy prior to issuing to supervisors/managers.

    · Provides various reports to HR and management.

    · Processes perfect attendance credits for Butterball rewards.

    · Maintains warnings database by closing warnings upon completion and following upon outstanding warnings as needed.

    · Provides policy guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers.

    · Responsible for administering all types of leaves of absences, LOA, FMLA, STD, etc.

    · Tracks all the leaves and maintaining the files while employees are on leave until the employee has returned to work.

    · Provides support to HR for various projects, functions, and activities.

    · Works independently with other department managers.

    · Performs other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    · Ability to provide accurate, efficient, and timely execution of tasks.

    · Ability to use sound judgment and discretion while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

    · Strong interpersonal, teamwork and relationship management skills with the ability to partner effectively with all personalities.

    · Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs.

    · Proficient with various MS applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    · Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with front-line leaders and employees.

    · Detail oriented and organized.

    · Effective time management and prioritization skills

    · Bilingual (English / Spanish)

    Education & Experience:

    · Associate degree or combination of work and/or educational experience

    · 3+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.

    · Experience with administrative or policy interpretation.

    · Prior food processing or manufacturing experience preferred.

    Working Conditions:

    · Office and Plant work environments. Possibility of being exposed to varying conditions in the Plant setting, such as cold areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions.

    · Must be able to work in different climate conditions.

    · The noise level of the environment is usually moderate.

    · Physical requirements include sitting, standing, and walking for prolonged periods of time.

    · Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds at a time.

    · Adaptable to scheduling needs to accommodate business requirements during Fresh Season and occasional weekends.
