We are working with a market leading global microscopy and imaging instrumentation manufacturer to find a field-basedAdvanced Microscopy Product Specialist, covering Dallas, TX and surrounding areas.
The candidate should bebased out of the Dallas area.The company will consider a relocation package for well qualified candidates if required.
Product coverage includes advanced microscopy imaging systems, confocal microscopes, and super resolution microscopes, all with in the Life Sciences market.

We are looking for someone with the unique combination of scientific knowledge and credibility, excellent communication skills, an aptitude for business and sales, and advanced research microscopy experience.

Sales and support of high end microscopy products, including but not limited to: confocal, imaging, and superresolution productsWork as a team with Account Managers to achieve sales targets by managing all aspects of the sales cycle; including: prospecting, customer needs-assessment, follow-up, quotation preparation, demonstration, closing, and follow up customer supportDevelop a deep understanding of customer microscopy applications and challenges and make authoritative recommendations on solutionsLead high end instrument product demonstrations and customer training sessionsConduct on site professional customer meetings and product demonstrationsWorking with Account Managers, respond to institutional RFPs and Tenders in a proficient and timely mannerTrain Account Managers on the use and demonstration of imaging productsMaintain professional and constructive relationships with colleagues to ensure positive sharing of and collaboration on: product information and feedback, scientific application updates, sales strategies, and general market updates.
Essential Requirements:
University Degree within the sciences or engineering . Advanced degrees in life sciences highly preferred.
A high degree knowledge and experience with life sciences microscopy and its applications. Experience with advanced techniques such as confocal and fluorescence microscopy is required.
Additional experience techniques such as live cell imaging, multiphoton, super resolution, spinning disk, and/or TIRF is highly preferred.
A high degree of computer literacy is required.
Must be proficient within a Windows environment:
Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Ability to adapt and learn new software is key.
Must be comfortable with computer hardware and software troubleshooting (e.g. driver, software installation/troubleshooting, PC card installation, etc).Must exhibit a strong ability to work in a team environmentHighly developed organizational and project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Should be comfortable presenting complex topics to groups.
Must be fully fluent in EnglishAbility to travel overnight up to 30% of the timeRequires a valid current drivers licenseMust be authorized to work in the United States#J-18808-Ljbffr
