About the job

We are currently seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our finance department.

This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining the seamless and productive management of our organization's accounting operations and supporting various functions and ensuring accuracy in financial records.

Qualifications

Proficient knowledge of Accounting functions and principles.
Bachelor's degree in

Business/Accounting

or related field OR a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting similar role.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Knowledge of Oracle software systems is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
Strong multitasking capabilities, adept at handling multiple concurrent tasks.
Demonstrated commitment to achieving goals, targets, and objectives.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent computer skills, including a rapid aptitude for learning new software applications.

Primary Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable:
Engage in all facets of the accounting process, encompassing invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations. Uphold strict adherence to policies and procedures, ensuring precision and timeliness.
Assess and refine processes and protocols to reinforce efficiency, diminish delinquencies, and streamline operations. Integrate strategic automation and technological solutions to optimize operational efficacy.
Oversee and manage the detailed and punctual issuance of client invoices, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and regulatory mandates.
Utilize templates to create and dispatch invoices to clients, subsequently following up to confirm receipt of all billing documentation.
Supervise the reconciliation and accurate allocation of client payments to the corresponding client accounts and invoices.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, promoting efficiency, and ensuring accuracy in financial operations.
Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders in both English and Spanish.
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
