Full Job DescriptionDescription:
Summary/Objective: Effectively Set-Up & Operate CNC mills while safely following quality requirement and production standards. Primarily Fanuc controllers (1 Mazak EIA)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform Set Ups and operation of CNC MillsRead and follow job router, set-up sheet and work instructionsCorrectly load and unload materials and parts into fixtures, vices, and chucks.
Measure and document as required inspection data to assure part complianceRead and interpret blueprint dimensions, symbols, and notesDocument countsOrganize, clean, and maintain work areaCommunicate with Engineering on issues, needs, and improvementsCompetencies:3 or more years setting up and operating CNC mills (5-Axis preferred)Detailed AttentionKnowledge of machine and controller functionsKnowledge of machine tolerancesKnowledge of GD&T and applicationsExcellent mechanical skillsMathematical and geometrical knowledgeGood communicator, ability to listen, ask questions, and provide solutionsAbility to work extra hours when neededSelf-MotivatedPositive attitudeStrong Work EthicFamiliarity with AS9100 StandardsHigh school diploma / GEDPhysical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required stand for long periods of time, walk and reach.
The ability to lift products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
