Job Summary:


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Pursues effective relationships with others by proactively providing resources, information, advice, and expertise with coworkers and members.   • Facilitates planning and design projects by: using judgment and discretion to interpret guidelines to assist with the resolution of nonstandard problems. communicating between the project team and others inside and outside of the organization; and developing training materials for the team or consultants on strategies and concepts, coordination, and management of the support teams area of expertise.
  • Supports NFS program deliverables by: working on components of National Facilities Services (NFS) initiatives and projects from initiation through design phase with close oversight from senior management; developing, analyzing, and executing project plans which include scope identification and management, schedule, interdependencies, and resource forecast; monitoring project performance (e.g., on time, within scope, and with quality) against plans and provides input and justification for costs and budget impact; managing project activities related to organizational change management (e.g., development and execution of user adoption, implementation, and training plans) as defined by the project; and allocating resources, establishes schedules, and makes task assignments.
  • Acts in compliance with KP requirements by: developing a full working knowledge of the enterprise facilities design standards development to ensure quality solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc.), Planning (e.g., Space Planning), Interior Design, Construction Management, Cost Estimating, or related field AND minimum three (3) years of experience in planning, architectural, design, engineering, CADD, hospital/medical facility, healthcare planning, construction estimating, or a directly related field OR Minimum six (6) years of experience in planning, architectural, design, engineering, CADD, hospital/medical facility, health and safety administration/management, construction estimating, or a directly related field.
