Description

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.

This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

You will work closely with the materials capability group in engineering and with operations to support to programs across all Business Areas.

You will be working in a highly collaborative and exciting area where applying, growing, and maturing additive manufacturing such that it provides direct benefits to the business.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED and 4 years work experience. 4 years minimum of industry / internship experience in building Additive Manufacturing hardware.
  • Highly proficient in CREO 7 and GDT with the capability to Design for AM.
  • Experienced in understanding, interpretating, modifying complex hardware models.
  • Proficient at AM builds on HP Powder bed and Stratasys fused filament machines.
  • Working knowledge of software's; Insight and Smart Stream and Control Center.
  • Ability to design fixtures and assembly tooling necessary for hardware with complex features, surfaces and angles.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on AM machines.
  • Full understanding with the ability to use safely operate machining tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interface and work cooperatively with engineering external and internal customers.
  • Motivated selfstarter and collaborative problem solver.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • DOD Clearance Eligible.
  • Demonstrate Additive Skills by showing 23 Products that the individual has created.
  • Ability to focus in delivering efficiency.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of somewhere and tools on how to create AM products.
  • Have a desire to help the factory advance in our capabilities.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range:
$ $100540
