Description
Production of parts meeting drawing and specification requirements.

  • Setup and operation of equipment, as assigned.
  • Order and maintain inventory levels of required tooling, gages and supplies.
  • Participate in assuring team tooling and material readiness. (Assemble tooling setup kits, stage raw materials and perform external setup tasks, as required).
  • Perform machine inspections including daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare daily production reports and forms.
  • Participate in setting and achieving team and individual productivity and quality targets.
  • Participate with team in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Train other operators as required.
  • Perform shop floor housekeeping duties.
  • Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.
  • Maintain full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with the Arconic Code of Conduct.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of and commitment to lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
  • Support the Supervisor and Team Lead in other areas as needed.
  • Takes direction from lead.
  • Works within welldefined instructions.
  • Knowledge of assembly manufacturing operations and machine processes
  • Mechanical technical ability including basic troubleshooting
  • Ability to handle different sets of tooling, piece parts, air and hand tools, and machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, and Bill of Materials
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to train other individuals
  • Able to understand complex steps in an assembly process and multitask with different skill sets


  • Minimum computer skills

  • MS Office
  • Outlook and Excel including data entry
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to get along well, communicate timely and accurately with coworkers and supervisors
  • Ability to stand long periods of time
  • Physical labor and repetitive movement required
  • Ability to move quickly and safely to meet proper production numbers
  • Familiar with manufacturing safety practices including PPE
  • Good eye/hand coordination for efficiency, safe, and quality work practices
High school diploma or GED equivalent

Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. High volume manufacturing environment with forklift traffic. May have higher noise volume in areas - hearing protection required. Requires ability to stand for long periods up to 8 to 10 hrs. May lift/carry up to 40lbs.
