Job Summary


Wagner-Meinert is looking for an individual to join the team in our Fort Wayne, Indiana office in the role of Warehouse Assistant.

This position involves receiving inventory and general warehouse duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and process warehouse inventory and jobsite material
  • Compare packing lists to company purchase orders, and ensure that the received items match the packing lists
  • Inspect received stock for damage and correct quantities, and report damages or discrepancies as appropriate
  • Return damaged products to vendors
  • Record receiving data in company database
  • Ensure received items are distributed to the correct location or person
  • Pull inventory and perform general material and construction tool handling
  • Complete inside/outside work

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work up to 50 hours a week
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds when necessary
  • Ability to work some Saturdays if necessary
  • General knowledge of construction tools
  • Attention to detail and communication skills
