- The Asset Management Strategic Advisers Technology (AM Tech/SAT) team is seeking to hire a Chapter Area Leader with solid technology and interpersonal leadership skills to lead engineering teams supporting Managed Accounts portfolio construction platforms.
- As the SAT Chapter Area Leader, you bring together deep technology expertise with a commitment to mentoring and developing leaders and associates. You are dedicated to providing value to clients, partnering with other leaders to set standards for your area, and influencing strategic decisions based on your experience.
- You will oversee a group of chapter and team leaders, guiding associates working on squads within Product Areas. By introducing new ideas and insights, you will enhance work quality, foster skill development, and promote continuous learning.
- You will collaborate with a global team of Chapter Area and Product Area leaders in SAT, while working closely with peers in other AM Tech domains and engineering excellence groups. By showcasing Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you will help maintain and evolve an innovative agile culture.
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of hands-on software engineering and development experience.
- Expertise in cloud-enabled, high-throughput, distributed enterprise platforms.
- Demonstrated success in leading software development teams and coaching leaders.
- Experience in planning team capabilities and strategic talent acquisition and allocation.
- Background in integrating 3rd party vendor software and familiarity with financial services, managed accounts, and wealth management.
- You are passionate about ensuring a seamless and efficient developer experience.
- You excel as an inspirational leader, setting strategic direction and aligning others to deliver results.
- You possess strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- You promote continuous improvement and an agile way of working.
- You actively share knowledge, encourage continuous learning, and take a data-focused approach to decision-making.
- Aligning chapter area talent with strategic priorities to deliver client and business value.
- Mentoring and developing chapter leaders to enhance team performance.
- Translating strategic changes into actionable insights for customers and roadmap impact.
- Collaborating with leaders to influence decisions, measure performance, and optimize talent while ensuring consistency and alignment with standards.
- Sharing industry insights, knowledge, and practices within your expertise across the organization.
- Developing technology roadmaps to drive platform consistency and minimize IT costs.
