Business Manager Position Description


Wilkinson Auction & Realty Co., LLC and its affiliated businesses are an integrated professional services firm offering auction services, real estate brokerage services, legal services, and title insurance services.

We are looking for a business manager to manage large portions of these businesses to free the salespeople to deliver sales.


Job Duties Include:

Auctions

  • Creating and updating online bidding catalogs;
  • Reviewing and processing motor vehicle titles for trucks, trailers, and cars sold at auction;
  • Clerking, cashing, and handling online bidding at live, inperson auctions;
  • Occasionally helping set up live auction sites;
  • Obtaining and tracking customer payments for online or offsite purchases;
  • Tracking auction proceeds, expenses, and consignor payments;
  • Handling frontline client requests and communications.

Real Estate

  • Acting as a transaction coordinator for 1 or more real estate agents;
  • Answering front line questions from real estate agents, buyers, customers, and others;
  • Scheduling and, if licensed, conducting real estate showings;
  • Assisting with closings, with a notary license;
  • Onboarding new customers.

Firm Marketing

  • Acting as customer outreach coordinator, to provide multiple points of contact with customers per year and to plan and execute customer appreciation events;
  • Tracking customers through a CRM;
  • Ordering and placing swag and customer gifts.

Firm Administration

  • Handling payroll and employee withholding tax reporting;
  • Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable;
  • Handling sales tax reporting;
  • Manage record storage and retention processes;
  • Handling worker's comp insurance audits and other insurance related issues;
  • Managing banking relationships;
  • Manage IT vendor relationships;
  • Ensuring that licensed producers complete their education requirements and that their licenses are uptodate;
  • Pick up and deliver tools, equipment, and supplies to offices or auction locations as needed.

Executive Assistant

  • Execute ideas and plans from ownerproducer.

Special Projects

  • Review and implement new payment systems, such as Stripe or Venmo;
  • Create a customer sales tax database that ensures we have sales tax exemption forms in place for customers;
  • Create a CRM and a customer experience process designed to "increase stickiness" and implement "limoin, limoout" service;
  • Help develop SOPs for various recurring business processes.
We expect this position to grow as various items on this list are managed effectively.


Pay:
$55, $65,000.00 per year
