We are currently seeking a Mechatronics Technician for rail vehicle maintenance in various areas such as air conditioning, doors, train protection systems, toilet systems, drive technology and control, chassis/brakes, vehicle electrics, or pneumatics/mechanics/hydraulics (m/f/d) for DB Regio AG at our location in Karlsruhe.

Your responsibilities:

Depending on your area of responsibility (air conditioning, electronics, mechatronics, etc.) and corresponding training, you will independently carry out repair and maintenance work on rail vehicles according to work orders.
You always adhere to applicable technical regulations, as well as safety, fire, and environmental protection regulations.
You are responsible for documenting measurement results on work orders, including measurement and documentation protocol sheets, and using IT systems.
You also perform tasks as directed by your supervisor and maintain cleanliness and order at your workplace.

Your profile:

You have completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, automotive mechatronics technician, electrician, or a similar field.
Knowledge of mechanical and electronic components is advantageous, and ideally, you have previous experience in vehicle maintenance.
You are openminded, curious, and willing to qualify in several of the mentioned areas.
You enjoy working in a team but also take responsibility for independent work
