THIS POSITION IS BEING STAFFED FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR. ANTICIPATED START DATE IS AUGUST 13, 2024.


An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.

6.5 hours/day

  • Have obtained an Associate's degree, or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR
  • Completed a minimum of 48 college credits from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR
  • Passed the ParaPro assessment with a minimum score of 455. Documentation of test score must be submitted.
  • JOB SUMMARY:
  • This position is paraprofessional work which requires the teacher assistant to assist the classroom teacher in providing full-time and individualized instruction to students whose first language is not English. This position assists in a variety of tasks and helps carry out instructional procedures as directed by the classroom teacher. This position performs work under the direct supervision of the teacher, building administrator, and E.S.L. supervisor.
