Responsibilities:


  • Teach Earth Science at the high school level
  • Design innovative, engaging, and differentiated high school lessons
  • Plan assignments and curriculum in collaboration with science teachers and other departments
  • Work oneonone with students daily for support and enrichment
  • Complete administrative and supervisory duties as assigned
  • Support the mission of Cardinal Hayes High School

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Science or in Education required; graduate degree preferred
  • State teaching certification in the relevant field preferred
  • Experience working with high school students preferred
  • Strong classroom management abilities
  • Ability to work productively and collaboratively with a diverse faculty and student body
  • A belief that all students can succeed
  • Openminded, flexible, and adaptable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required

$55, $75,000.00 per year
