THE POSITION:


DESCRIPTION OF WORK:


  • As an Administrative Assistant 1 in this capacity, you will work within the Bureau of Vehicle Management (BVM) to conduct administrative and technical duties by coordinating and processing the Commonwealth's statewide Automotive Fleet physical damage claims and telematics data. You will prepare monthly agency reports detailing agency vehicle usage, spending, maintenance, physical damage, fuel data, mileage reimbursement, rental usage, and other information provided by different systems such as telematics and the M5 software system. This professional activates and deactivates telematics devices and ensures that all tasks within telematics, M5, and spreadsheets are completed. You will investigate and forward telematics First Notice of Loss (FNL) Alerts to agencies when received to verify if an accident occurred and generate telematics usage reports on a weekly basis to assist the Chief.


Within this role, you will also work with the Bureau of Finance and Risk Management (FARM) in determining at fault accidents where BVM has the ability to pursue a deductible for partial reimbursement of claims losses.

This position analyzes automotive repair estimates and invoices to ensure all contracted discounts are applied and contracted labor rate pricing guidelines are followed by outside vendors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:


  • Fulltime employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday
  • Friday, with a 60minute lunch.

Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Specific telework details may be further discussed during the interview process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:


  • Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a fouryear college or university;
    or:
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
