    Frontend / Full Stack Engineer

    Our client is a Bay Area based Startup at the forefront of AI software development, harnessing the power of generative AI and large language models (LLM) to create groundbreaking solutions for specific data-driven verticals.


    Their founder has a PhD in Machine Learning and spent several years at Google before leaving to start this company.

    To get the MVP to market, they've secured top-tier partners and investors and have multiple years of funding runway.


    Working alongside a team of exceptional ML and backend engineers from Google, Meta, and other leading tech giants, you'll find yourself in an inclusive and collaborative environment that values diversity and open communication.

    They believe in the power of face-to-face interactions to foster creativity and teamwork and thus mostly work onsite.


    You'll be able to utilize your exceptional skills in modern open source technologies (TypeScript, React, GCP, etc.) as a core member of their engineering team.

    You'll be responsible for developing SaaS based AI solutions that solve common pain points across a multiple verticals and range of use cases.

    General Duties:
    Develop and scale complex and AI based web applications
    Design API and services
    Monitor and debug applications in production
    Collaborate with team members to ship new products and features
    Improve their overall engineering processes through Agile methodologies

    Experience Requirements and Preferences:

    5+ years of hands-on programming skills using across the entire stack, with focus on frontend development using React.
    3+ years of current experience with React and TypeScript, as well as some experience with a combination of PostGreSQL, Prisma, , Remix, and/or

    Preferred:
    Tailwind CSS and backend frameworks such as NestJS
    Proven skills and passion for frontend UI development, including creating beautiful and functional SaaS applications
    Ability to quickly learn new languages and tools, and naturally curious mindset.
    Desire to join a growing engineering team as an IC and love to code.

    Prefer candidates who have worked in similar role at early or growth stage startup companies, preferably developing consumer-like B2B SaaS applications.

    Passion, independence, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects.
    Experience with or strong interest in AI, search, and large language models is highly preferred.

    Able to start a new position with reasonable notice and currently work in the US in a full-time capacity without visa sponsorship.

    Interested in working in office in hybrid WFH model. Must currently live in (or actively relocating to) the San Francisco Bay Area.
    Ability to commute to their offices in the Palo Alto area, 2-3 days per week is typical onsite schedule.


    Benefits & Compensation Package:

    Base Salary:
    $140K - $190K (or competitive offer)
    Hybrid work environment (typically spend 3 days in the office, earlier in the week)
