    :

    Washman Car Wash is hiring for a Network Technician II to maintain, expand, and secure the computer network systems. This person works, implements, and supports the current and future network needs required by the business.

    You will monitor and maintain the organization's network by troubleshooting network systems when necessary and making improvements to the network as needed. You will also ensure the organization maintains Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance. This position requires travel between car wash locations and HQ offices as needed and field work at sites to help maintain and update the IT infrastructure.

    Network Technician II Position Responsibilities

    • Install and/or support – computers, AV devices, phones, printers, Wi-Fi, ethernet, IP, DNS and DHCP. Office 365 products (teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Outlook etc.) Jira, Windows 10, engineering programs, cloud services like Box, NetSuite, Adobe.
    • Install, configure, and maintain network devices and service including routers, firewalls, switches, voice equipment, UPSs, VPN, etc.)
    • Install and trace cables (i.e. CAT5e and CAT6 wires)
    • Assist in establishing and enforcing adherence to network and security policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Remotely troubleshoot issues via calls, shared screens, quick assist.
    • Monitor system access, resource utilization, and performance.
    • Perform maintenance and upgrades.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose network problems and outages.
    • Report network operational status, including incidents, violations, and security deficiencies to management within IT and outside the organization.
    • Manage projects related network maintenance, including vendor resources.
    • Provide Tier 2-3 level support including on-call support and the possibility of flex hours based on business needs.
    • Document brief guides, instructions, and general communications for departmental or company-wide use.
    • Identify processes improvement opportunities and work with internal stakeholders to implement solutions.
    • Manage and/or support ad hoc projects.
    • Assist and manage the first line of support for end-user requests with POS/Tunnel Control hardware/software issues at all Washman sites.
    • Create and maintain list of IT issues by importance.
    Requirements:

    Network Technician II Position Requirements:

    • Associates or bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Networking, Information Security, or related field is desired.
    • 1+ years of Microsoft Server experience required (proven Network Administration experience).
    • 1+ years of IT field work experience.
    • Level 2 Networking Knowledge.
    • Minimum of 1 Year Car Wash Point of Sale System (ICS, Washlink) experience preferred but not required.
    • Administration of a 2019 Domain/Windows for Workgroups.
    • VPN Sonicwall experience preferred but not required.
    • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
    • Strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills along with good communication abilities.
    • Strong Proficiency in troubleshooting and customer service.
    • Strong technical skills with PCs. Ability to learn and support new products.
    • Ability to create network diagrams and documentation.
    • Ability to conceptualize technical problems via phone.
    • On-call availability.
    • Demonstrated emotional control under stress/positive attitude when providing support.
    • Troubleshooting firewall, access point, router, switch, controller, router problems.
    • LAN and WAN experience.
    • Ability to climb up and down ladders and stairs.
    • Ability to carry 25lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally.
    • Communicate daily with current network technician and direct supervisor.
    • Work Monday – Friday and be on-call weekends

    Pay: $85,000-$90,000 DOE w/ Performance Bonuses
