River Oaks Country Club is hiring Reporting to the A La Carte Manager, the cocktail server assists the Beverage service and Bartenders with the daily needs of the operation, which includes the Banquet and regular bar areas.

Part-time positions available - Dinner Shifts Available - $16.00/hour + commission + Excellent Employee Amenities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome and seat members/guests and offer menus or beverages.
Serve all members and guests in assigned sections of the bar, patios, and surrounding areas.
Take Member's orders and place orders into point of sales system.
Provide fast and efficient service of food and beverage in a courteous manner.
Ensure correct billing procedures.
Provide excellent service, ensuring level of service meets ROCC standards.
Serve food and drinks according to service standards.
Inform cooks and bartenders of special requests as necessary.
Be knowledgeable about all food and beverage products that are offered at the bar and the a la carte dining rooms.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Speak fluent English.
Possess a functional knowledge of wine by the glass and popular spirits.
At least 1year experience in the frontofhouse restaurant/bar world preferred.
High school diploma
