- Follow procedures in IQ to monitor scrap, standards, productivity and machine utilization.

- Will oversee that the Production Supervisors hand over the shift to the next Supervisor in a condition as good as or better than it was at the beginning of their shift, as evidenced by the oncoming shift Supervisor's approval.
- Will ensure that housekeeping rules are followed and enforced, as evidenced by random walk through and manager audits.
- Explore ways to enhance the manufacturing process
- Will confirm that Production Tracking Reports are accurately completed, as evidenced from random manager audits and Planning Departments input.
- Will ensure that Malfunctioning equipment is reported to the responsible department's Supervisor or Manager, as evidenced from equipment repair forms filled-out and submitted.
- Will ensure that parts are molded to IQ standard cycle time, as evidenced by IQ Report. (Meeting 99% cycle efficiency tracking report.)
- Will ensure that the reject rate is less than 2%, as evidenced by daily reject tracking report.
- Will ensure that only acceptable parts are produced and packaged, as evidenced by production tracking report and customer returns or complaints.
- Will ensure that assigned personnel have performed their duties, as evidenced by production tracking report.
- Good people skills. Must be able to communicate well with others, to lead, and to foster teamwork and cooperation, and a positive work environment.

- Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in injection molding and troubleshooting
- Four (4) Supervisory experience preferably in a plastic molding injection environment
- Personal computer skills
- The Shift Supervisor must be able to communicate clearly, as well as understand how to read and write English.
- May be required to stand and/or sit in excess of 6 hours per day
- May be required to lift, push and/or pull 55 pounds
- Average mobility to move around a manufacturing environment
- Able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer
- May require travel

Assumes full responsibility on the shift for all activities, subordinates, and equipment in the Molding Department, as well as for the orderly operation of each piece of equipment; oversees all floor personnel assigned to their shift.
