Purpose and Scope The Material Handling Team Leader is primarily responsible for ensuring that warehouse inventory is accurate, orderly and complete.
*The sign on bonus is paid: $500 after 60 days of work and final $500 after 90 days of work.
- additional conditions apply Essential Job Functions Move and transfers inventory in Navision systemMaintain paper and electronic recordsCycles inventory to prevent expiration of productReceives incoming shipments and leads trucks for outgoing shipment, ensuring that pellets are placed in the appropriate bin location.
Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.Pulls stock requests for productionControls stock movements within the warehouseStocks finished goods from production once released by QC/QA.Handles and processes shipping documentation (Bills of Laden, shipping invoices, etc)Operates and maintains fork trucks and pallet jacksMaintains the cleanliness and organizations of the warehouseEnsure the inherent safety of the warehouse facility and operations Assist with other shipping and warehousing duties as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.Requirements High school degree, GED or 1-2 years of related experienceBasic math and reading skillsStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office Programs)Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as leadership skills.
Able to supervise other staff and complete all necessary paperwork associated with managing other staff. Able to lead a team and develop staff abilities over time.
