SUMMARY:
The Electrical Engineer performs a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phases of projects. Uses creativity and objectivity to perform studies and technical activities to arrive at optimal, cost-effective, and reliable technical solutions. Supports Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing with engineering knowledge and experience. Performs other duties as required. Much of the work will involve electrical components and system design.

Frequent tasks include but are not limited to one-line documentation creation, load lists, creating engineering BOM, engineering project hours estimates, test procedures, and executing projects.

Must be able to multitask several projects at the same time.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design drawings and BOM to meet regulatory and safety guidelines.
Liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications and on time.
Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals.
Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes and workflows.
Participating in conferences, events, networking, and learning opportunities.
Creating cost estimates, schedules, and various other documents.
Analyzing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment and systems.
Designing and building prototypes as part of the development process as required.
Work in a cross-functional project team environment and individually on assignments.
Provide engineering support for manufacturing and service teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
At least 3-5 years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer in an OEM equipment manufacturing design environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Experience using AutoCAD 2D software to create electrical schematics to detail design specifications and requirements.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent motivational skills and multitasking abilities.
