The South Bavarian Meat Products GmbH is headquartered in Ingolstadt and operates three modern meat factories in Traunstein, Obertraubling and Ingolstadt, in addition to the Birkenhof meat factory in Donauwörth.
The company emerged from a merger of the Donauland meat factories with the Chiemgauer meat and sausage products and is a 100% subsidiary of EDEKA Südbayern.
With around 460 qualified employees, the production facility is one of the major employers in the region and produces numerous regional meat and approximately 250 sausage varieties - from high-quality raw materials sourced from selected regional suppliers.
