American Egg Products is looking for a Class 3 Wastewater Operator. This position has responsibility for the successful operation of our wastewater treatment plant. Duties include;

• Performimg all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment andprocess and management
• Must posess basic mechanical aptitude to perform general maintenance and repair
• Operating sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment to control flow and processing of up to 100,000 gallons of water daily

- performing daily checks of the wastewater treatment process and operation of DAF unit

• Assisting with the installation and inspection of new wastewater utilities
• Reading and interpreting meters and guages that monitor the purification process and operation
• Daily inspections of all plant equipment and performing repairs of machinery and equipment as needed
• Collecting and recording data for record maintenance
• Performing facility grounds maintenance including cleaning equipment and tanks along with various other "housekeeping" duties
• Performing other related duties as directed
• Assisting with startup of 2nd and 3rd wastewater treatment facilities as they are built in the future at 2 other locations within 11 miles of main plant
• Must have a Class 3 Wastewater Operator certification to be considered for this job.

Pay:
From $54,990.40 per year

• Water treatment: 1 year (required)
