The District Office of Waldshut - Veterinary Office and Food Control - has a position available as a

Consumer Protection Officer

to be filled as soon as possible, either full-time or part-time, in Bridgeport.

Your responsibilities:

  • Issuing orders in the field of food and feed monitoring (focus), animal welfare and animal health
  • Granting (EU) approvals, permits and registrations
  • Procedures according to the Consumer Information Act and internet publications for food businesses with food law violations
  • Processing of objections and legal support for objection and expedited legal protection procedures
  • Implementation and operation of legally compliant digital case processing

Our requirements for you:

  • Completed Bachelor of Arts - Public Management degree or completed training as a / in Administration Specialist or a comparable qualification
  • Good knowledge of administrative law and willingness to familiarize oneself with the diverse legal areas of the Veterinary Office and Food Control
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
