We are currently seeking to fill the following position at the Putnam County Administration:

Tax and Investment Management Your responsibilities – diverse and challenging Leading the ongoing implementation of § 2b of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG) in the county administration Managing all tax matters for the county Providing advice to the administration leadership, departments, and investments of the county Investment management, including investment reports Managing relationships with elected officials and monitoring county investments Preparing and implementing decisions made by the county council and other governing bodies Maintaining and monitoring a tax compliance system Managing the county's own foundations Your qualifications – qualified and motivated You have the qualifications for the third level of the civil service (administrative and financial career – non-technical administrative service), are a certified administrative specialist (BL II), a certified tax specialist, or have a comparable qualification.

Additional training in business administration, such as a business administrator (VWA) or administrative business administrator (BVS), is desired. You enjoy working independently and possess initiative, creativity, and teamwork skills. You have a confident and polite demeanor, conflict resolution skills, and persuasive abilities. Even in stressful situations, you impress with your strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and persuasiveness
