•Position: ARDMS Certified Vascular Ultrasound Tech
•Location: Doctors Hospital
•Shift: Nights 36hrs week 1 & 44hrs week 2 (see below); every other holidayWeek 1: Sun/Mon/Tue (1 OR )Week 2: Sun/Mon/Tue/Sat (1 OR )
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (4026):
•2 years of experience
•ARDMS Certified - RVT
•BLS Certification
•1-2 yrs ultrasound training from an accredited training program
•Strong Vascular and general experience needed
SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION:This position independently performs requested ultrasound examinations, searching for any possible pathology as indicated by the patient's symptoms/medical history and/or results from previous testing. He/She reviews and discusses the ultrasound findings with the radiologist and a diagnosis is made.
