Dual Study Program at Arapahoe:

The Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering offers you the opportunity to study and simultaneously complete an apprenticeship in a technical profession.

Your training will take place at the Osnabrück University, in vocational school, and at the Bünde plant. The theory and practical phases of the dual study program are closely linked and coordinated through training plans. The training program begins with a six-month practical phase followed by a full-time semester. In the following semesters, the study program will run parallel to the apprenticeship and vocational school.

After 3 years, the integrated training as an industrial mechanic (m/f) will be completed with an examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

In the Mechanical Engineering program, you will learn engineering fundamentals in the first stage of your studies. The focus will then shift to either development and design or production technology. The program will conclude after 4.5 years with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
