Job Overview
Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) seeks a Project Manager for its Evaluation and Continuous Improvement program.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized person with research and process improvement skills to facilitate Tufts CTSI's mission through data-driven evaluation.

The incumbent will manage the program's portfolio to ensure high quality deliverables within specified timeframes, assist in determining priority evaluation needs across multiple stakeholders, collaborate to design and plan small


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in project or program management.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Current licenses, certifications, and registrations related to degree.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads successful implementation of programs and explore ways of continual improvement.
  • Manages projects from inception to completion. Creates timelines and work plans for assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation phases of project.
  • Tracks progress against the timeline and deliverables.
  • Convenes and manages committees or working groups to develop and sustain new and existing programs. Oversee implementation of action items.
  • Structures and manages the process for building buy-in among key stakeholders.
  • Manages events, meetings, and retreats including scheduling and logístical arrangements, serving as liaison to presenters/invitees, agenda preparation, materials distribution, minutes, follow-up, media, and audio-visual needs.
  • Prepares reports and presentations; collects and organizes data and program information for proposals, reports, presentations, and evaluations.
  • Works with evaluation team to develop program metrics and evaluation plans.
  • Serves as primary liaison to internal participants and external partners.
  • Provides excellent internal and external communications.

  • Strong interpersonal and management skills to interact with healthcare leadership and support staff. Highly professional manner with an ability to maintain sensitivity, confidentiality, and tactfulness.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate programmatic needs. Ability to lead and direct others by setting priorities for completing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent writing skills including the ability to draft and present program materials.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Works proactively and positively with all levels of staff and instill the highest standards of practice.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Shows good judgment, prioritizes.
  • Ability to work independently, but also comfortable asking for help/input from others where needed.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity-works to resolve open questions, can define a process to resolve ambiguity, is comfortable that the plan may change.
  • Concise and effective verbal and written communication skills-can talk easily to a variety of audiences.
  • Self-motivated and tenacious-looks for interesting and meaningful analysis and insights, seeks opportunities to do things better.
  • Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of project management.
