Commercialization Associate

We are hiring a Commercialization Associate to provide support to the commercialization and development of new products within the premix portfolio.

This includes managing new product development activities (Project management), working cross functionally, and supporting product launches.

As the Commercialization Associate, you will support concept to market commercialization activities of new products, as determined by PSM Team


Responsibilities include:
Coordinate development of internal and external documentation, including specifications, quality statements, and other documentation.

Work closely with international PSM team to provide required documentation and information needed to register new products in developing markets.

Perform all master data/SAP setup functions including material setup, bill of material setup, finance (requiring coordination with Finance team), and quality.

Coordinate with logistics team on warehouse and vendor setup. Facilitate work between operations, tech services, and R&D by setting up bench top and scale up trials. Develop success criteria and project plans. Communicate project plans, schedule, and budget with all relevant departments including PSM, quality, R&D, procurement, operations, and technical services.

Monitor first 3-5 lots of production to finalize specification, close out new product development process, and transition to production planning and product managers.

Keep the project pipeline up to date and communicating status updates to the team. Maintain a tracking and communication system for new product development process.

Identify and drive improvement projects to help the PSM team improve overall performance to customer expectations, improve the P&L, and assist in business growth.

Support logistics and inventory flow for existing products.

Act as liaison for internal customers (sales, finance, customer service, purchasing, marketing, operations, quality) for day-to-day product activities and questions.

Support the New Pipeline Innovation (NPI)/ Technologies processes.

Qualifications Bachelor degree (BS) required. Degree in Food Science/Food Technology a plus. 2 -3 years of experience in the food and nutrition industry. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Basic technical and business skills for management and commercialization of products in the food and nutrition industry.

This individual will support optimizing and executing the commercialization processes in alignment with the strategic intent and priorities within the premix organization.
