Cybersecurity Specialist at GovCIO in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview GovCIO is currently hiring for a Cybersecurity Specialist.

This candidate will coordinate, develop, and recommend security processes for an organization. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA. This is an onsite or hybrid position. Responsibilities + Supports enterprise Cybersecurity standards. + In coordination with Government develops and implements Cybersecurity standards and procedures. + Coordinates, development, and recommends security processes for an organization. Recommends Cybersecurity solutions to support customers' requirements. + Recommends and satisfies Cybersecurity requirements based upon the analysis of CSPP, policy, regulatory, and resource demands. Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of processes and policies. + Supports analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures. Analyzes security requirements for computer systems which may include mainframes, workstations, and personal computers. + Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet CSPP requirements. + Provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution. + Analyzes general Cybersecurity-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.

+ Supports vulnerability/risk analyses and makes recommendations on computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.

+ Ensures that all information systems are functional and secure. Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree with - 8 years (or commensurate) experience.

Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
