Atlas Toyota Material Handling, part of the Atlas Companies, is currently hiring a full-time
Accounts Payable Associate to join our Team.

We are seeking an organized and motivated person with proven experience in accounts payable or other relatable accounting positions.

Atlas Companies consists of four different divisions:

Atlas Bobcat, Atlas Toyota Material Handling, Atlas International Lift Trucks, and Atlas First Access.

We are an authorized Toyota Forklift Dealer and Bobcat Dealer and provide a variety of other material handling and warehouse solutions for companies of all sizes.

Your New Role:

Capture vendor documents into the Company's software solution designed to route, code, approve, record, pay and retain.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors including ownership of resolving disputes.
Responsible for weekly check runs to ensure payments to vendors are within terms.
Work with other departments with regards to customer refunds, receivable offsets, and vendor exceptions.
Reconcile vendor statements monthly.
Assist with month end closing.
General office and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

What You'll Need to Succeed:

High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
13 years of accounts payable experience.
General knowledge of accounting principals.
High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Proficient data entry skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must exhibit a positive and respectful professional image towards customers and coworkers.
