Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team.

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of medical equipment and instruments.

Your attention to detail and adherence to aseptic techniques will contribute to the overall safety and well-being of patients.


Duties:


  • Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
  • Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issues
  • Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets according to established guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes
  • Follow proper handling and storage procedures for sterile supplies
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Experience:


  • Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique, anatomy, and physiology
  • Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and equipment
  • Proficiency in medical terminology

Skills:


  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy
