License and Certification Qualifications:
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
Education Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Experience Qualifications:
Five years of experience in programming, analysis, and management required. Two years of experience in a leadership position in the information system field preferred.
Skills Qualifications:
Ability to be customer service oriented to internal and external customers and effectively communicate with school system employees; ability to conceptualize abstract concepts and translate user needs and problems into creative solutions; ability to analyze and solve problems; thorough knowledge of programming languages; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to set and meet deadlines; and ability to work across functional departments and interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage designated software analysis, design, and development for multiple platforms for the IT Solutions and Design Department.
Physical Demands:

The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
