Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach is Seeking a Dependable Live-In Caregiver to Join Our Growing Team

This is a great opportunity for parents or anyone coming out of retirement looking to pad their income, veterans, or those entering their second career.

Pay:
$45K-$90K

Live-In Positions are 1 week on and 1 week off. You must have a permanent local residence.

At Home Caregiver Responsibilities:

Provide ambulation support, bathroom assistance, hygiene care and redirections with encouragement and patience.
Provide care for patients with advanced dementia
Provide nonmedical assistance to seniors in their homes
Provide mobility assistance, such as walking and transfers
Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders
Monitor fluid intake and output
Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks
Monitor patients overnight, assisting with mobility challenges and transfers

Job Requirements:

Must be within a commutable distance of the Virginia Beach area
Must be encouraging and patient in providing advanced dementia care
Must be 18 years or older to apply
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
Must have a current CNA, NA, PCA, or HHA certification, or be willing to obtain one prior to starting work**:
Current PPD
Must be self directed and able to work with mínimal supervision
Able to pass drug screening and criminal background check
