Position Overview The FastenMaster Division manufacturesand markets innovative, premium quality wood-to-wood fasteners that areengineered to enable professional contractors to complete buildingprojects safer, faster, and easier.
The Territory Manager will managesales representatives that are assigned to their geographical region andwho are responsible for the daily sales operations in the territory.
Inaddition, the Territory Manager is responsible for developing newaccounts and expanding business within existing accounts, training salesrepresentatives, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuringthat sales quotas are met.
This key position must be a strongcommunicator, manage their time efficiently, possess strongorganizational skills, and above all, be an enthusiastic team player.
Position Responsibilities Promote Safety as the Number One priority ofall OMG employees. Train, motivate, and guide sales representativeswithin the assigned territory. Research and design successful salesstrategies tailored to the assigned territory, increasing sales. Analyzesales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales andmarketing techniques. Motivate sales representatives to achieve salesquotas while regularly evaluating their performance. Monitorcompetitors\' sales activity within an assigned territory. Meet withcurrent and prospective customers about OMG products and services.Perform other tasks as assigned. Position Requirements Bachelors degreein marketing, Business Administration, or another similar field. Priorexperience as a Territory Manager, preferably in a high-volumeenvironment. Ability to plan, organize, assign, prioritize, evaluate,and supervise the work of a team. Build and maintain both internal andexternal relationships. Achieve targeted performance KPIs. Analyticalthinker with strong problem-solving skills. Overnight hotel travelrequired 4-8 nights per month, with some after-hours required to meetcustomer demands. Occasional weekend events are also required (1-2 peryear). Positive can-do attitude.
Physical Requirements Ability tooperate a motor vehicle while maintaining focus on safe driving andavoiding all distractions when behind the wheel, especially cell phones.
Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch.Ability to utilize stepladders, extension, and fixed ladders. Theposition requires the ability to regularly stand for long periods oftime.
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands tohandle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms,climb or balance; and occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 Must beable to complete all essential job functions listed in the positionresponsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
