SALARY:


The salary range for this position is $73,838.98 to $115,075.98 for Schedule A, and $73,838.98 to $109,322.18 for Schedule B.

For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range.

For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A.

Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.**_

The Judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth._**The New Jersey Judiciary seeks a dynamic training professional, who possesses a strong understanding of live and virtual training skills, event coordination, asynchronous virtual course development, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to work under the direction of the Court Executive 2b (Chief, Organizational Development and Training).


  • The selected individual will serve as the primary learning coordinator for the Administrative Offices of the Courts (AOC) in Trenton, a virtual training specialist for both synchronous and asynchronous courses, and an event coordinator for Human Resources and training programs at the AOC. This individual will oversee the schedule of training events provided by Organizational Development & Training (OD&T), which will include class instruction/facilitation, compliance tracking for AOC employees, training facility schedule management, and coordinating customized training requests from statewide stakeholders. This individual will assist with both live and ondemand virtual learning program development, including design and production of asynchronous eLearning and video elements for upload in the Judiciary Learning Management System. This person will coordinate oversee Human Resources based committees to plan hosted events such as the annual Take Your Children to Work Day. Finally, this position manages the Judiciary mentorship program developing both managers and employees.
  • This position will have both remote and onsite reporting. Requires travel to various Judiciary locations within the state.
- **REMOTE WORK**:The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.


Example of Duties:


  • Conduct instructorled training programs both inperson and virtually
  • Facilitate experiential learning and development programs for professional audiences ranging from support staff to court executives
  • Develop, design and write lesson plans on various professional development topics
  • Develop, design and conduct the TraintheTrainer workshops for statewide, regional and vicinage training programs
  • Manage compliance for AOC personnel with regards to policy acknowledgements and mandatory training programs
  • Support requests for OD&T owned and operated space and equipment
  • Chair the Take Your Child to Work Day event committee and host HR events as assigned
  • Develop and deliver virtual ondemand training programs (eLearning) using Storyline eLearning software
  • Provide consultative support to divisional clients looking to develop new eLearning content or convert existing curriculum content to eLearning
  • Serve as a support for OD&T virtual instructor led training programs
  • Provide Learning Management System support to AOC employees
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all internal clients requesting customized learning interventions and coordinate OD&T customized learning project assignments
  • Oversee the Judiciary Mentor Program, pairing veteran Judiciary employees/ supervisors/ managers with new employees/ emerging leaders
  • Develop proposals for new learning programs, tools, and resources in preparation for future workforce needs
  • Participate in team projects
