    Description

    Our client, a fast-casual restaurant operator and manufacturer, is seeking a Distribution Manager to join their team. This position is currently open due to the growth the company has seen over the last few years and this person will have the ability to make a significant impact on the distribution process.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage pick-ups, deliveries, timing, due dates, pricing, and organizing the daily process based on demand
    • Effectively coordinate with all customers and internal staff to ensure daily distribution schedules are followed
    • Collaborate closely with production staff to ensure precise inventory management of manufactured goods
    • Collaborate with sales, accounts receivables, and operations to enhance the logistics of daily distributions, actively seeking strategies for system improvement

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years experience in a Manager/Supervisor role
    • Ability to be on-site 5x a week in the Bronx
    • Self-starter, can pick up small nuances quickly, relationship management with freight carriers, internal CSR staff and customers
